As a second-generation lighting designer, Eric Johnson’s roots are firmly planted in the lighting design industry. With a career that spans over twenty-five years, Eric attributes his success to the ethics, standards and ingenuity he learned while working with his father and brothers in their individual lighting design and electrical businesses. Their respective businesses continue to significantly impact the framework of the residential lighting industry today.

Back in the early ‘60s, when residential lighting design was in its infancy, Eric Johnson’s father, (Merlin Johnson), was breaking ground with creative lighting for homeowners seeking to enhance their living environments. Eric’s family business literally designed, produced, and installed the electrical and lighting systems that added value to their client’s homes.
